This project was all about building a brand that’s as vibrant and fun as they are and I’m so excited to share every detail with you.

So, who are Fika?

Meet Fika (find them on IG at @fikaedit) a clothing brand with a heart for sustainability and style. They’re all about creating an impact, and their pieces make you feel like you’re part of something bigger. When they came to me, they wanted a brand identity that was colourful, bold, and fun but also super clean and timeless. The vibe? High-energy yet elevated, with playful colour and shape to make it unforgettable.

How we clicked, aka became brand besties

This wasn’t just a random match, it was more like a full-circle moment! Fika and I first connected two years ago at a branding workshop when we were both starting our businesses. We instantly vibed, kept in touch, and then BAM! They came back, wanting to work together on their brand. Knowing my design aesthetic and my background in fashion made them feel like I just got it, from the look of the labels
to the packaging details.

The Design Process | Bringing FIKA’s vision to life

Here’s where the real fun began! Let me walk you through the process we used to bring Fika’s dream brand to life, step by step.

1. Concept Development | Laying the Foundation

We kicked things off by setting the creative direction. Fika shared their inspo through questionnaires and an epic Pinterest board loaded with visuals. We had a chill call to go through everything, talking all about their vision and faves. Then, I went to work, building a concept that included logo ideas, typography, colours, and overall design vibes. It was all about capturing that lively, polished energy they wanted. After a few tweaks, they were in love, and we were set to move into the full brand design.

2. Brand Design | Creating their dream brand

Now, time to bring this concept to life! I put together a full brand presentation for them, complete with logos, colors, typefaces, patterns, and examples of their assets working seamlessly together across their social media, website, and packaging. We had a little back and forth on a few things (as always - we get to the best results through collaboration!), but in the end, we nailed it. Every detail just felt like Fika.

3. Website | Building Their Digital Home

Now, time to bring this concept to life! Using the approved concept as my direction, I craft a cohesive brand presentation for them, complete with logos, colors, typefaces, patterns, and examples of their assets working seamlessly together across their social media, website, and packaging. We had a little back and forth on a few things (as always - we get to the best results through collaboration!), but in the end, we nailed it. Every detail just felt like Fika.

4. Website | Building Their Digital Home

With branding locked in, it was time to bring it all together on their website. I started with a strategy presentation to map out the look and flow, then gathered their copy and images to create wireframes so they could get a clear picture of the layout. And when I revealed the design? Total win! They were obsessed. I gave them time to dive into the details, making sure everything was spot on.

5. Social Media Suite | Supporting them to show up

While we were working on the website, I created a social suite for Fika in Canva to make it easy for them to consistently show up and shine online. They now have templates that let them use their branding to the max, with posts that scream GORGEOUS.

6. Packaging | The final touch

Once the website was good to go, we wrapped things up with custom packaging to make their brand experience seamless. Think thank-you cards, tissue paper, labels, tags, mailers, and stickers all the little touches that make their customers feel special. Fika even shared the cutest pic of themselves showing off the tags on a call, and it just made my day!
